Do you have any signed pieces available?
Some pieces are available from time to time for a few dollars more which have been signed. If you would be interested in such items, please e-mail your request with item number to info@steinbachnutcrackers.com. We will do all we can to get it for you.

I have a nutcracker which is damaged or missing parts. Can I get it fixed?
Unfortunately, repair of broken pieces or replacement of missing parts is not available. To do so would take too much time from the production of new pieces. Please understand that despite the website name, we are not the manufacturer of the nutcrackers.

If the piece was purchased in that condition, the store where it was purchased has the responsibilty to replace it for you. Some are less than willing to do so, so be careful when purchasing. Consignment stores selling "as-is" items at discount rates are the exception to this rule as no warranty is offered with their sales.

If you can not get help from the store where it was purchased, you might try to find a woodworker who can make new parts for you.

SteinbachNutcrackers.com warranties any piece purchased through our website against damage due to shipping or missing parts at the time of reciept.

I am planning a trip to Germany and would like to tour the facility. Is it possible to arrange a tour?
Please understand that despite the website name, we are not the manufacturer of the nutcrackers. That being said, the Steinbach factory does not currently offer public tours of their facility.

I see that the item I wanted is out of stock. How long will it take before it is available?
The factory handles production as quickly as possible, but please understand that each is hand-made and therefore takes time. Every effort will be made to restock items as soon as production schedules will allow. If you would like to be notified when one of these items becomes available, please e-mail your request to info@steinbachnutcrackers.com.

Do you have a catalog you could send me?
Our website is our catalog. We make every effort to update and maintain it on an ongoing basis. Any changes to product availability will be made on the website as soon as possible. However, from time to time, orders come in that deplete current stock before we have a chance to update the website. We hope you will be patient with us should this occur.

I have a nutcracker that I received and I'm not sure what it's called. Can you identify it?
Determining value is quite easy for a current item. However, there are many pieces which are no longer in production and are therefore very difficult to identify and place a value on. Collectors will often place value on an item based on availability. In order to properly identify the piece a part number is needed (S####, or Z###, etc.). Without that number, identifying any piece is like a search for a needle in a haystack. For all current items, try the search function on our website .
